Hotel Vasco Da Gama - Monte Gordo

Good place with its outdoor pool, snack bar, and 24-hour reception. The staff even helped with my late check-out during my first stay, which I remember fondly. Can't wait to come back for Christmas!

Great Stay with Amazing Views

The sunrise was lovely! Breakfast offered plenty of choices, and towels for the pool were easy to obtain. Don't miss out on the nearby beach. It's a perfect spot to unwind.

Every time in Monte Gordo, I choose this place. I have just returned from a REALLY NICE stay in this traditional hotel, well-appointed rooms. The room is reasonably priced. The employees are all lovely friendly and amazingly friendly.

Fairly clean hotel, lovely friendly and absolutely excellent employees from chambermaids. Well-appointed room with very comfy bed and free safe for safety measures. Large selection at breakfast including eggs and meats.

The beach access is fantastic, just a short walk. The outdoor pool is large and inviting. Breakfast offered many options, all delicious. Staff were consistently helpful and attentive 😄

Friendly staff, rich breakfast, although fully booked, we were spontaneously able to participate in the New Year's Eve Gala Dinner and Celebration.

easy access to fine beaches and vibrant town life

our stay was made even better by the fantastic proximity to Praia de Monte Gordo, only a short walk away, and the charming nearby restaurants and cafes which allowed us to fully enjoy the local culture and cuisine.

Furniture a little outdated

Hotel was okay for 3 stars, as well as the food. The location is very good, directly on the long sandy beach.

It was immediately apparent that it was a sanatorium for English and Dutch pensioners. At 50 you were one of the youngest guests.

The pool area was fantastic with plenty of sunbeds and direct beach access! Breakfast had amazing options, but the evening meal could have been warmer. A lovely stay 🌊

Location

Hotel room rather tired and in need of updating. Hotel room and bathroom were clean but the furniture was old fashioned.

The large, clean room offered a comfortable stay, perfect for business needs. Service was consistently attentive and efficient, especially during breakfast with a great selection. The bar's happy hour was a pleasant surprise and provided good value. The hotel's location near the beach is ideal for both relaxation and work-related activities.
